Barron stated, “I was trying to determine if the puck went in since it was really close. I noticed the skate approaching. The play was unlucky. The biggest thing I noticed at first was that I could see with my right eye.

When he returned to the ice, he had a full cage covering his head.

Adam Lowry, a center with the Jets, stated, “Looks like he was attacked by a shark.” It’s frightening. All of us are so concerned that the puck will cross the line when suddenly we notice a trail of blood leading from the crease to the bench.

Lowry scored twice in the triumph.

Barron’s decision to re-enter the game was not a surprise, according to Jets coach Rick Bowness, who was also impressed by his motivation and ambition.

“I think more of his presence coming back because we all realized how bad it was, and that gave everyone a big boost,” Bowness said.
