Billie Eilish is undoubtedly not a nasty person, but the same cannot be said for the man who ascended the KTLA tower in Los Angeles with an attention-seeking sign.

The unidentified man made it to the top of the Hollywood TV station tower and scaled its tower, where he waved a sign that read, “Free Billie Eilish.” It looks that the other side says, “MK ultra sex slaves donald marshall clones.”

The man is seen dangling the fabric sign while carrying an electric guitar over his chest in video footage taken late on Tuesday (April 25) from the site at the intersection of Sunset Boulevard and Bronson Avenue close to Van Ness Avenue.

Authorities encircled the 160-foot tower, according to ABC, and made an effort to persuade the man to descend again. In the interim, Sunset Boulevard was apparently closed.

Eilish is not sequestered. She did, in fact, sort of make a comeback earlier this month when she contributed vocals to Labrinth’s “Never Felt So Alone,” and she followed that up by sharing the stage with the British musician at the Mojave Tent of the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival.

The two full-length albums by the “Bad Guy” singer—2019’s When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go? and 2021’s Happier Than Ever—both topped lists worldwide for albums. Along the way, she became the second artist in Grammy Awards history to win all four of the Big Four categories, and at the age of just 18, she wrote and performed “No Time to Die,” the James Bond theme song, making her the youngest artist to do so. She is still silent regarding the peculiar circumstance.
