Following the match in which her husband Andrade El Idolo made a comeback in the ring, WWE superstar Charlotte Flair expressed her emotions. Buddy Matthews and Andrade engaged in a rough duel during the fight. The two superstars had never previously shared the ring, thus this match was eagerly anticipated.

In a way, Charlotte helped her real-life husband win because Andrade triumphed by applying the notorious Figure-four leg lock, which is both Charlotte and her father’s go-to submission hold. Figure-eight leg lock is a modified variation of the submission technique that Charlotte employs. The former WWE superstar completely imitated his wife’s rendition of the hold by arching his back while he was in it as a way to pay even more homage to her.

The 14-time WWE Women’s Champion expressed her gratitude for her husband’s successful comeback on Twitter. She has been observed helping Andrade on his road to rehabilitation on numerous occasions over the previous few months. Now that everything has come full circle, he performed tonight on Collision. She amusingly referred to him as “Papi” as well, which may or may not have been another veiled jab at Dominik Mysterio.
The encounter was fantastic from beginning to end, and Andrade has successfully rejoined AEW. Fans will only have to wait and watch what happens to Andrade El Idol.
