6ix9ine (also known as Tekashi 6ix9ine), an American rapper born Daniel Hernandez, was hospitalised after being assaulted in the bathroom of a gym in South Florida. Lance Lazzaro, his attorney, told ‘Variety’ that the 26-year-old musician suffered facial injuries and bruises. Lazzaro went on to say that 6ix9ine tried to fight back but was beaten up by three or four men in the sauna at the LA Fitness gym and outside. When employees became aware of the commotion following the altercation, the attackers fled.

According to Lazzaro, local authorities in South Florida were notified of the incident and transported Hernandez to a nearby hospital via ambulance. At this time, the rapper’s current medical condition is unknown. The lawyer also stated that his client suffered cuts and bruises on his face as a result of the attack.
