Bruce Willis, who turned 68 on March 19th, celebrated the occasion with his family and ex-wife Demi Moore. The actress posted a video to her Instagram account showing a glimpse of the festivities. In the video, she can be seen singing “Happy Birthday Daddio” with her daughters Rumer, Tallulah, and Scout LaRue, as well as Emma Heming (Bruce Willis’ wife). Emma Heming and Bruce Willis’ daughters Evelyn Penn and Mabel Ray also appear in the video. The Die Hard star can be seen with his family, singing “Happy Birthday” with them. Emma brings a dessert decorated with two candles near the end of the video. “Hip-Hip Hooray!” he exclaims as he blows out the candle.
Demi Moore shared the post with a sweet birthday note for ex-husband Bruce Willis that read, “BW, happy birthday! I’m so glad we got to celebrate you today. I adore you and our entire family. Thank you for your kind words and warm wishes; we all appreciate them.” Rumer, Demi’s daughter, also posted a video with a similar caption on her Instagram account “Daddio, happy birthday. I adore you to the moon and back (moon emoticon). You’re awesome.”

Bruce Willis’ family issued a joint statement on Instagram, stating that aphasia is affecting his cognitive abilities. Aphasia is a condition that causes a loss of ability to express or understand speech. According to an excerpt from the announcement, “As a family, we wanted to share with Bruce’s amazing supporters that our beloved Bruce has been experiencing some health issues and has recently been diagnosed with aphasia, which is affecting his cognitive abilities. As a result of this, and after careful consideration, Bruce is leaving the career that has meant so much to him.”
Returning to Bruce Willis and Demi Moore, the couple married in 1987, but separated in 1998 and filed for divorce in 2000.
