To all, Happy Father’s Day. Every father out there! They are: She, He, Them, and They. Making sure that no one who identifies as a father was forgotten on their special day, Madonna said on Instagram in the late afternoon of Sunday, June 18.

Madonna, who presently has the singles “Popular” and “Vulgar” out and will shortly begin her career-spanning Celebration Tour, thanked her fans for their unwavering work ethic, love, and refusal to treat her in any way. I learned how to be a survivor from you! Always Grateful.

When she shared her memories of spending time at Silvio’s vineyard with her six children for his 90th birthday two years ago, Madonna reiterated similar feeling.
“My father is a survivor growing up as an Italian immigrant in the US and living thru many traumas but always working hard for everything he had,” she wrote as the description for the photo at the time. He showed me the value of working hard and making a living for oneself. Once more, thank you.
