Taylor Swift is literally in a league of her own. Swift was on Forbes’ annual list of the highest-earning entertainers, where she was the only female singer to appear at all.

The “Anti-Hero” vocalist is expected to earn $92 million in 2022 as a result of her sustained popularity, streaming royalties, licencing fees, and other income streams.

Swift could earn even more this year, according to Forbes. “Crashing Ticketmaster with incredible demand for her Midnights tour in November promises an even greater 2023 for her, as she’ll be on the road for 52 nights throughout the U.S. with a potential 9-figure payday as a result,” the list added.

Genesis tops Forbes’ annual list, owing largely to Concord Music Group’s $300 million purchase of their collection in September.

Sting came in second for 2022 after selling his music to Universal Music Group for $300 million in February. Genesis had the upper hand in terms of revenue from touring and royalties.

Tyler Perry, the list’s sole billionaire, comes in third place with $175 million earned last year. Trey Parker and Matt Stone, the creators of South Park, came in fourth place with $160 million, thanks almost exclusively to their massive 2021 deal with Paramount.

Fellow Simpsons founders James L. Brooks and Matt Groening received $105 million, putting them in fifth position, closely followed by Brad Pitt, who earned $100 million, mostly through his Plan B production company.

The Rolling Stones ($98 million), James Cameron ($95 million), Taylor Swift ($88 million), and Bad Bunny ($88 million) make out the top five.

Swift’s inclusion on Forbes’ list comes just over a week after she won her 12th GRAMMY Award for Best Music Video for her famous short film “All I Have.”
